Nabwiso Films Foundation was established in 2019 by Eleanor Nabwiso with a mission to empower Women and girls through drama and film.

Priority Areas

  2. Support women and girls who have been abused to move on positively.
  3. Empower women and girls with entrepreneurial skills through educative forums.
  4. Empower women and girls to improve their livelihood and families.

Nabwiso Films Foundation in collaboration with other Women in Film produced the Film Bed of Thorns which addresses various issues on Gender Based Violence.

(2019)

Nabwiso Films Foundation in partnership with the US Mission in Uganda organized a 5-day Women in Film workshop under the American Film Showcase on development of documentary film. The workshop was facilitated by US Film Envoy - Ramona S. Diaz.
